Tis the season for gift giving and despite being nearly 30 years old, I still have a Christmas wishlist. For those of you that believe I have earned more than a lump of coal for Christmas, here's a wishlist composed of gadgets, entertainment, personal decor, and other raw materials necessary to keep myself and the apartment operational for the next 365 days. Hopefully this will make your shopping adventures less painful and whenever possible, available from the convienence of your computer and no more than a few mouse clicks away. Keep in mind, this is a work in progress so I'll be updating it over the next few weeks.
In no specific order, here's the wishes and wants:
Kensington Car Mount for iPod ($29.99) - I recently purchased an iPod Touch. Unforunately, the old Belkin car dock I was using is not compatible. For now, I've been just laying the iPod across my lap while I drive, but hopefully with this nifty mount, I'll have my tunes on-screen and out of my way while driving.
Tuscany Classics Simply Red Wine Tumblers ($31.99) - Stemless wine glasses seem oh so sophisticated, or not, but they sure look cool. I have my fair share of normal wine glasses, thought these would be a nice addition to the collection. I don't drink white wine, so shoot for the tumblers for red wine.
Gray Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Headset ($119.99) - I generally try and avoid talking on the phone while driving, but sometimes it's necessary especially when you want to stay out of trouble with the girlfriend. If I'm going to have to talk, may as well be a little safer about it.
Snap-button hood toggle coat ($245.00) - Keep it simple stupid, isn't that what they always tell me. Well in this case, I don't think it can get any more simple than 3 buttons. I don't even need to contend with a zipper.
Socks ($18.00) - They don't have to be the same as those in the picture, but I could really use some white ankle socks that don't have stains and holes in them. In fact, I have a few soliders that have lost their significant other so I've found myself wearing two different socks from time to time.
Cotton Red Khaki Stripe Shirt ($54.60) - Gotta dress up once in a while, and this one seems to fit that bill. Probably a medium, but then again, I don't know without being trying it on.
Heritage Vintage Stripe Shirt ($54.60) - Yes, another dress shirt, and yet another one that would probably need to be a medium. Disclaimer, I don't know what size I would take.
Black and White Block Burma Bibas Silk Tie ($39.99) - It may not look good from far, but hopefully it's not far from good. I saw it on a shirt and really liked it.
Blue Striped Burma Bibas Silk Tie ($39.99) - Add this one to my collection and if you find any others, feel free. I only have a few ties and could use some more.
Heritage toggled shawl-collar sweater ($148.00) - I hope I don't look like this guy in it, but I think it would be a nice addition to my casual wear for work.
Essential Cotton Crew ($16.50) - I need some black and white tees to wear under my other shirts. I have a few, but they are all streched out.
Hemlock Lake Pajamas ($59.50) - 300 some days later and I've already began wearing out last year's pajamas and am in need of some new ones. Besides, I could always use some variation in my bed attire.
Alive 2007 ($15.99) - Another release by Daft Punk. Only had the partial album available on iTunes, so Amazon is the way to go here.
Search for Sunrise 6 ($14.99)- This DJ just can't seem to find this sunrise he keeps talking about. I just don't get it, the sun rises in the east and sets in the rest, what's so hard about finding it?
Mass Effect ($59.99) - Some say violent video games are unhealthy, I disagree and considering these video games are PG-13 compared to the violence in East Liberty, big deal.
Assassin's Creed ($59.99) - Saw a few previews for this game and I'm alredy hooked. Reminds me of the good ole days of Ninja Gaiden.
Half-Life 2 Orange Box ($59.99) - Always have been and will be a Half-Life fan. Any game that allows me to have guns with massive amounts of ammo sounds promising to me.
Call of Duty 4 ($59.99) - Yet another installment of one of the best war fighting games ever made, only this time it's for modern warfare, not that old school stuff.
Timeshift ($59.99) - Another highly recommended first person shooter. Guns, time travel, things that blow up...right down my alley.
Pittsburgh Slim Tastemaker [Explicit] ($6.99) - A rapper from Pittsburgh? You betcha bottom dolla. His first single was pretty popular here in the Burgh so why not give his album a shot.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End ($22.99) - Savvy that? Old captain Jack Sparrow is up to his old tricks again in the third movie in this trilogy.
The Bourne Ultimatum ($16.99) - Action-packed, non-stop mayhem, what else could you ask for?
