Today I started to get that icky feeling and my taste buds weren't performing up to par. Yeah, I think I'm catching a cold or maybe it's more like the cold finally caught me. Nonetheless, a simple cold isn't going to hold back development on the site. Rather than digging into my medicine cabinet when I arrived at my frigid apartment after work today, I decided to spice up the commenting functionality.

Commenting on this website should be as easy as possible. Until now, each time you wanted to comment on something, you would need to enter your name, website (optional), and a comment. Sure, you could check a box to save that information in a cookie, but that's still more work than necessary. Not only were comments overly burdensome to add, but the avatar icon associated with each comment was boring, dull, and did I mention static? Why not make it even easier and heck, with a few lines of Ruby we might even be able to tie the comment to a user's avatar when possible.
