While browsing my feeds periodically today, I happened to stumble across an article that provided instructions on how to transform a photo to a pencil sketch similar to the one on the left here. While I probably wouldn't use this technique that often, I was compelled to at least give it a shot as it might come in handy around the holidays when I'm scrambling to create calendars, cards, and books filled with various photos from my collection for gifts.

So I haven't yet gotten to the interesting part of this blog yet. Before we go any further, I must warn you, the following image is of graphic nature and not intended for children. Alright, now that I've warned you, go for it.

Apple just unveiled a wide variety of new upgrades to their iPod line, upgraded the services on their iTunes Store to include movie downloads, and released a brand spanking new version of iTunes. See that picture to your left, yeah, that's their new service that allows you to download movies. Oh wait, I almost forgot to mention their debut of a soon to be released product only known as iTV. For now I'll leave it an exercise of the reader to go investigate all the details, but wanted to draw attention to one of my favorite new features of iTunes, 'Cover Flow'.
