Ever since college, I've managed to collect a wide variety of bedroom furniture that while functional, was not very soothing to look at. An oak bed, a dresser plastered with random stickers, and a television that is from about 1992. Since I had some time on my hands and managed to scrape together a few bucks, I decided to venture out with my interior decorator (my mom) to Roomful Express and a number of other furniture stores to see what they had to offer. Needless to say, I managed to track down an entire new bedroom ensemble.

There is nothing that bothers me more than sloppy code or not being able to understand my logic a week after I wrote it. Pot calling kettle, it's dark down here. Yes, I know, I've written plenty of code that is completely a mess, but for some strange reason Ruby on Rails makes it almost a competition to write quality code and reduce the cost of maintaining it. Maybe it's just me, but does rake stats not just beg for you to try to make your code footprint as small as possible and balance the amount of test code you write.

So I have some updates for those who've been following this never-ending development extravaganza of a site I'm trying to whip together.
